Drug company cuts off supply to Mingo Co. pharmacy

CHARLESTON – After West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey's office filed a lawsuit against it, McKesson Corp. has terminated its contract with Tug Valley Pharmacy in Mingo County without any advanced notice. CHARLESTON — West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey hailed a federal appeals court decision as a crucial victory in protecting the rights of gun owners across the state and beyond. The 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Thursday a district court must adopt a strict standard when it reconsiders the constitutionality of a Maryland weapons ban, which prohibits sale, transfer and possession of certain firearms.

CHARLESTON — West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey has announced a multistate agreement with banking and financial services provider HSBC that will change the company’s servicing standards and provide restitution to affected consumers. The agreement was the result of a joint civil action filed by the U.S. Department of Justice, 49 states and the District of Columbia for misconduct related to their origination and servicing of single-family residential mortgages.
