With oil reaching $70 per barrel and gasoline prices inching to $3 a gallon, we all are experiencing the far-reaching effects of America’s continued reliance on foreign oil. It is threatening our homeland security, shaking our economy and placing cumbersome financial strains on our citizens. To help liberate America from energy dependence, I believe West Virginia has the capacity to emerge as a national leader by using one of our most abundant resources to help meet the nation’s growing energy needs.

Once again West Virginia is under attack by the U. S. Chamber of Commerce and the billion-dollar corporations that it represents. The charge? That West Virginia’s courts are the worst in the country.
