HUNTINGTON – If the past can be considered prologue, then blogs will prove useful, and not harmful to American democracy, says a panel of First Amendment experts.

MORGANTOWN – A panel appointed by Gov. Joe Manchin to study potential changes to the state’s judicial system held its second in a series of public hearings last week at West Virginia University’s College of Law which included the participation of the panel’s honorary chairwoman, former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor.

Williams Memorial Lecture, titled “Making Rights Real: How Tort Liability Reformed Local Government,” given by Charles R. Epp, professor and director of the Department of Public Administration’s doctoral program at the University of Kansas.
