CHARLESTON — A Nicholas County woman is suing Partners Insurance and Financial Service for invasion of privacy.
Charles Manning and John and Jane Doe were also named as defendants in the suit.
On June 29, 2009, the defendants negligently released confidential information to nonessential third parties causing extreme emotional distress and disgrace in the community and with her family, according to the complaint filed June 2 in Kanawha Circuit Court.

The defendants caused Hodge to incur severe and grievous mental and emotional suffering, fright, anguish, shock, nervousness and anxiety, according to the suit.
Hodge is seeking compensatory damages in the amount of $100,000 and punitive damages in the amount of $100,000. She is being represented by Belinda S. Morton.
