CHARLESTON -– Jennifer L. Hughes has joined Jackson Kelly as an associate in the Environmental Practice Group of the firm’s Charleston office.
Her practice focuses on representing clients at the state and federal levels. Prior to joining the firm Hughes was Senior Counsel at the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection where she was responsible for representing the agency in administrative proceedings and in state and federal court with an emphasis on water law.
Hughes received her Juris Doctor from Lewis and Clark Law School in 2004 and served as Associate Editor and Writing Coach of the Law Review. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in environmental studies and geology from Oberlin College in 1999.
