BRIDGEPORT — Due to popular demand, attorneys from the Steptoe & Johnson labor and employment team will expand their Labor Essentials Employers Seminars.
The first two seminars will take place Sept. 17 at the Tamarack Conference Center in Beckley and on Sept. 27 at Pullman Plaza in Huntington. The additional seminars will be Nov. 9 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Pittsburgh/Southpointe, Pa., and on Nov. 15 at the Holiday Inn in Martinsburg.
Attorneys will brief employers on the crucial issues affecting their businesses.
Members of Steptoe & Johnson’s labor and employment team will discuss a number of topics during these half-day seminars including Discipline and Discharge, Wage and Hour Compliance, and FMLA/ADA Compliance.
“These seminars will give employers an up-to-date look at the changes in employment law in their respective states,” said attorney Bryan Cokeley of the firm’s Charleston office. “There are some very challenging issues that employers need to know about, and our goal is to make sure they walk away from the seminar with the knowledge they need.”
