PRINCETON -- A woman is suing her employer and a co-worker after allegedly suffering head injuries.
Tammy E. Brinkley filed suit May 12 in Mercer Circuit Court against Princeton Community Homecare LLC and Sherry Cameron.
According to the complaint, Brinkley was working for the defendant Princeton Community Homecare in February 2013 at her desk when she was hit in the back of the head by defendant Cameron, causing severe injuries and medical costs. The plaintiff accuses the defendants of creating an unsafe working condition, the suit states.
Brinkley is seeking damages in an amount as justified by the evidence.
She is represented by Fayetteville attorney Greg A. Hewitt of Hewitt & Salvatore PLLC. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Derek C. Swope.
