WHEELING -- A man is accusing Progressive Insurance of not honoring the terms of its policy.
Rick L. Beck filed a suit Jan. 19 against Progressive Advanced Insurance Co. and Progressive Casualty Insurance Co. in Ohio Circuit Court. Beck is accusing Progressive of withholding insurance benefits he is owed.
Beck claims he was riding in a car that was involved in a crash in September 2012. Beck says he has submitted a claim in full compliance with the policy, but Progressive will not pay him. Beck accuses Progressive of failing to conduct a reasonable inspection of the claim and failing to honor the policy they issued.
Beck allegedly suffered injuries in the accident which have caused physical and financial hardship.
Beck is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages. He is being represented by attorneys Christopher J. Regan and J. Zachary Zatezalo.
