SUMMERSVILLE -- An elderly man who fell at a store and sustained injuries has filed a lawsuit over the incident.
Jimmy Williams filed suit in Nicholas Circuit Court naming Hardman Supply Co. as the defendant.
Williams says he visited Hardman's in Summersville on Feb. 17, 2012. While at the store, Williams was reaching for a hand rail to walk down the stairs, but there was merchandise preventing him from reaching it.
When he was walking down the stairs to the exit he tripped and fell, sustaining serious injuries. Williams filed this personal injury lawsuit, seeking to hold Hardman's liable for his injuries.
Williams is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages and is being represented by attorney William A. McCourt Jr.
