Unfortunately, our state legislature failed to act on the most important issues in West Virginia: creating jobs and improving access to affordable healthcare. It was another missed opportunity.
We need to reform our legal and tax systems and institute some common sense in our regulatory system if we are going to create a more job friendly environment in West Virginia, yet the incumbents in our district along with legislative leadership did not pass even one bill to create jobs in West Virginia.
The need for new leadership in West Virginia is clear. We need proven job creators that understand the challenges of making a small business work involved in the legislative process. That’s exactly why I am running and why our campaign has so much momentum in this primary election.
