PERSONNEL FILE: Keefer joins Jenkins Fenstermaker

HUNTINGTON -- The law firm Jenkins Fenstermaker recently announced that Barbara J. Keefer has joined the firm and will be Of Counsel.

“We are excited that Barb is joining our firm,” said Jenkins Fenstermaker CEO, Steve Wellman. “She brings a wealth of experience in the insurance law arena, and her expertise within this field of practice is well known. She will be an outstanding resource for our insurance clients.”

Keefer has extensive experience in civil litigation, insurance defense and coverage opinions. She has also previously worked for USF&G and Nationwide Insurance Company. She is a graduate of West Virginia University College of Law, where she earned her juris doctorate, and a graduate of Marshall University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree.

Keefer is admitted to the West Virginia State Bar, and admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia; United States District Court, Southern District of West Virginia; United States District Court, Northern District of West Virginia; United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals; and all West Virginia Circuit Courts. She is a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia, a statewide organization of defense trial lawyers and corporate counsel, and the CPCU Society. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Marshall University.
