MOUNDSVILLE -- A customer is suing a retail store after falling in the store.
Phyllis Thompson filed a lawsuit Feb. 28 in Marshall Circuit Court against Dolgencorp L.L.C., doing business as Dollar General, citing negligence.
The lawsuit states Thompson was in the store at 1345 First St., Moundsville, on March 3, 2012, when she fell on the floor. She sustained injuries throughout her body and will suffer permanently, according to the complaint.
Thompson is seeking compensatory and general damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, plus court costs.
She is being represented by Shane M. Mallett of Mallett Law Offices. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge David W. Hummel.
