Company says Beckley chiropractor didn't pay for HR services

BECKLEY -- A Beckley chiropractic company is being sued for failing to pay for services received.

Employers' Innovative Network LLC filed a lawsuit May 28 in Raleigh Circuit Court against Christopher Grose Chiropractic Inc. and Christopher Grose, citing breach of contract.

The plaintiff claims it entered into an agreement with the defendant to provide certain human resource related services on Feb. 25. The suit alleges the defendant agreed to pay the plaintiff according to the invoices for work done during the relevant period, but they failed to pay the invoices dated March 21, April 4 and April 18 in the amounts of $6,646.28, $7,242.78 and $5,714.12.

The plaintiff is seeking damages in the amount of $19,603.18, attorney's fees, interest and court costs.

The company is being represented by Charleston attorney Kevin L. Carr of Spilman Thomas and Battle PLLC.
