Man says he was injured during concrete delivery

CHARLESTON -- A Kanawha County man is suing over claims he was injured during a delivery of concrete.

Jason Wiseman filed a lawsuit June 10 in Kanawha Circuit Court against Claxton Smith & Sons Concrete Company, citing negligence.

According to the complaint, Wiseman ordered concrete from Claxton Smith & Sons on June 11, 2012, and the company negligently delivered the order to a work site in Rand, causing injury to the plaintiff in the process.

Wiseman is seeking compensatory damages in an amount to be determined by a jury, plus interests and costs.

He is being represented in the case by attorney G. Patrick Jacobs of the Law Office of G. Patrick Jacobs LC in Charleston.
