Angela konrad

HUNTINGTON – Angela Konrad, a partner at Huddleston Bolen, recently was named president of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel.

She will serve in this role for a one-year term.

The National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel is a 60-year-old organization made up of about 1,100 railroad trial attorneys from across the United States and Canada who defend railroads in litigation.

Throughout her legal career, Konrad has been a tireless advocate for her clients and the railroad industry. She has successfully defended clients in personal injury cases resulting from automobile/train collisions, cumulative trauma disorders, occupational disease and emotional distress claims, as well as cases involving property damage, premises liability, and natural resource law.

For the last 14 decades, Huddleston Bolen and its predecessors have served the railroad industry. The firm traces its beginnings to 1870 when railroad magnate Collis P. Huntington laid out a city on the banks of the Ohio River to serve as the western terminus of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Company.

Lawyers in the firm remain closely involved with the railroad industry, representing railroad clients in the courtroom and serving in key industry positions. Most recently, Huddleston Bolen was named a “Number 1 Railroad Law Firm in the Nation” by Best Lawyers.
