Money

HUNTINGTON -- A Cabell County company and two residents are suing over claims they have not been paid for services rendered to another local company.

Billy Joe Wynkoop, Pamela Bowen and Sowards Oil Field Services Inc. filed a lawsuit Oct. 30 in Cabell Circuit Court against Green Range Services, formerly known as BBB Oil & Gas Services, and Robert E. Childers, citing breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs performed work for Childers and BBB Oil and Gas Services, before it ceased to exist on May 20, 2013, and changed its name to Green Range Services. The plaintiffs say Childers was the main contact person for the work, and they billed him and the company for $314,825, which has not been paid.

Childers is accused of fraud for fraudulently assuring the plaintiffs he would personally ensure all bills for services rendered would be paid. The defendant company is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiffs seek the amount owed, attorney fees, interest and costs of court.

They are represented by attorney Paul E. Biser of Fredeking and Fredeking Law Offices in Huntington. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Christopher D. Chiles.
