MORGANTOWN – Attorney Allan N. Karlin has been selected to the 2015 West Virginia Super Lawyers Top 10 list for the seventh year in a row.
Lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Top lawyers are selected through a process of nomination by their peers and evaluation by the publisher’s research department.
Karlin and his law firm, Allan N. Karlin & Associates, represents clients in cases involving discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, wrongful death and serious personal injury claims.
In addition to his work as a plaintiff’s lawyer, Karlin has previously served as Chairperson of the West Virginia Lawyer Disciplinary Board and has taught a course in PreTrial Litigation as an adjunct professor at the West Virginia University College of Law.
Karlin is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association’s Ethics & Sanctions Committee and is active in the West Virginia Fund for Law in the Public Interest, a program that places law students in public interest positions during the summer months.
He is also a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and of the West Virginia Bar Foundation.
Karlin obtained his undergraduate degree from Yale and his law degree from the University of California Berkeley. He has practiced law in Morgantown since 1975.
