Melinda Westfall is suing her grandfather because he repossessed a vehicle he gave her after she obtained her driver's license.
She claims Ronald R. Coon of Charleston took it back when she refused to provide him sexual favors.
In a lawsuit filed Dec. 30 in Kanawha County Court, and titled, "Suing for my rights to my vichicle (sic)," Westfall claims Coon took the car back without notice.
The suit does not indicate the year, make or model of the vehicle.
"Ronald Coon (grandpa) purchased me a car after I got my licnes (sic) to drive he gave car to me," the complaint states. "Then he asked for sexual favors.
"When I refused this advancement he took my car in the middle of the night and traded it in on another car for another grandchild," the complaint states.
Coon answered the complaint Jan. 6.
"I took the car because she was leting (sic) her boyfriend drive the car with out liessen's (sic), and she did not make a payment on the car within 5 months," Coon wrote in his response to his granddaughter's lawsuit against him.
Westfall claims the vehicle was titled in both of their names, but Coon had it removed without her consent
"I knew nothing," the complaint states.
