* While at Oglebay Park, Deborah Griest says she slipped and fell on a sidewalk in need of repair. The plaintiffs seek compensatory damages, interests and costs.

* After their 1999 Chevy Tahoe was struck by a tree, the Seiferts submitted a claim to Nationwide for $2,232.45 in damages. Nationwide offered the sum but made the check payable to the Seiferts and the lienholder on the Tahoe, refusing to give the check solely to the Seiferts. The Seiferts claim this caused them loss of use, annoyance and aggravatio. They seek compensatory and punitive damages.

George Fatula Jr. dba and Wheeling Tent & Awning vs. Russell Fatula, Ashton Fatula, et al.

* While in the hospital for prostate cancer, George Fatula says son Russell Fatula and grandson Ashton, along with an unknown party who claimed to be a lawyer, presented him with a document which would enable Wheeling Tent to negotiate payroll checks for employees. He claims his son and grandson made false representations regarding the use of a company signature stamp to be used only for payroll checks. He says the defendants forged his signature on a deed which transferred the property to them. George Fatula seeks an injunction against the defendants to stop the creation of debts against the property, the transfer of the property back into his name and a freezing of all his accounts.
