* The plaintiffs claim an employee of Tender Loving Care was responsible for leaving Furfuri unattended when the employee knew of her medical condition and unsteady gait. The plaintiffs say the defendants breached their contract to provide 24-hour care and are directly responsible for Furfuri's serious and permanent personal injuries. They are seeking compensation for pain and suffering, medical expenses, increased costs of medical care due to the fall, etc. They are also seeking interest and all costs of this action.
