* As owner of an 1845c Skid Steer Rock-A-Way with 66-inch Bardco bucket and keys for two pavers and rollers, Sanders permitted Spacht to use thenequipment. On May 2, 2007, Sanders demanded return of his personal property from Spacht. Sanders contends that Spacht converted the use of this equipment to his own use. Sanders is seeking judgment against Spacht for $17,088, value of the equipment, plus $2,500 per week from May 2, 2007 for rental value of equipment.

Don A. Flint v. Trimble Engineers and Constructors Inc., Daniel B. Flesher and Matthew Flesher

* Flint claims he was unlawfully terminated from his employment with Trimble. On Nov. 15, 2005, Flint claims Matthew Flesher assaulted him with a beer bottle. Flint contends his discharge was retaliatory for attempting to file for Worker's Compensation and filing criminal charges against Matthew Flesher. Flint is seeking damages, lost wages and benefits, damages for indignity, embarrassment, humiliation and emotional distress. He also seeks punitive damages and attorney fees.

Daniel F. Slonaker v. Mountaineer Countractors Inc.

* Paving company Mountaineer Contractors completed a road-surfacing job on Beechurst Avenue in Morgantown. As part of the project, Mountaineer placed drain openings in the road that were at a level lower than the surface of the roadway, causing a deep depression around the drain opening. As Slonaker was operating his motorcycle on Beechurst Avenue, the front wheel hit the drain opening, causing him to be thrown over the handlebars. He struck his head on the pavement causing a closed head injury resulting in loss of memory and mental impairment. He is seeking compensation from Mountaineer Contractors as a result of their negligence.

Stacey Conner and Jeremy Connor v. Lisa Lynn Petersheim

* Petersheim, while operating a 1998 Dodge Neon on Route 26 near Valley Point in Preston County, crossed the centerline of the highway, colliding with a vehicle in which Stacey Conner was a passenger. Conner and her husband are seeking judgment against Petersheim for compensation.
