PERSONNEL FILE: Four Huddleston Bolen attorneys recognized in national publication

HUNTINGTON -- Four attorneys from the law firm of Huddleston Bolen, LLP have been recognized for their exceptional abilities and standing in the recently published Chambers, USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business 2007, a national publication.

Selected were firm partners Richard Bolen, Tom Gilpin, Thomas Murray and Marc Williams.

Since its first U.S. edition was published in 2003, the Chambers USA guide has staked its claim among the most respected referral guides of the leading law firms and individuals in the country. Because of its extensive research method, which includes numerous in-depth client and lawyer interviews, this guide is one that carries weight in the industry.

Thomas Murray was honored in the area of corporate and commercial law. It was noted in the directory that Murray was a "great, great lawyer" and was extremely well regarded in the area of securities transactions and mergers and acquisitions.

With the firm for over 25 years, Murray has built a substantial practice in the areas of banking, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law. Murray has also been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America since 1995 and as a West Virginia Super Lawyer.

Richard J. Bolen was recognized in the area of environmental law. It was noted that Bolen is known for his "high quality skills" in natural resources litigation. A lawyer with substantial achievements in both professional and community affairs, Bolen marked his 39th year in practice in 2007.

Bolen concentrates in law involving litigation - both personal injury and commercial - and natural resources - coal, oil and gas. Bolen has also served as an arbitrator in various coal, oil and gas matters. Bolen was also honored as a West Virginia Super Lawyer and in the Best Lawyers in America.

Thomas Gilpin was honored in the area of Real Estate Law. In addition to real estate, Gilpin is a recognized attorney with numerous accomplishments in the areas of bankruptcy, corporate and commercial law, health care and banking. He has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America for several years in the area of Bankruptcy and Creditor - Debtor Rights Law. He is also listed in the 2007 edition of West Virginia Super Lawyers. His transactional work achieves the clients' goals by a creative, analytical and cooperative approach to identifying risks, structuring and closing transactions.

Marc Williams was recognized for his work in commercial litigation. In the publication, it was noted Williams' "aggressive but personable" approach to trying cases. His diverse practice includes extensive experience in the trial and appellate defense of toxic tort, professional liability, product liability, premises liability, admiralty, insurance, employment law and complex commercial litigation matters. He is recognized in the Best Lawyers in America and as a West Virginia SuperLawyer.
