* Workman was walking down a flight of stairs in an apartment owned and operated by Bias. According to the suit, a step broke and caused him to fall 12-15 through the stairway. Workman claims Bias was negligent in permitting such a hazardous condition to exist on the premises. He is seeking compensatory damages.
