CHARLESOTN - WVL-PAC, the political action committee of West Virginians for Life, has announced its endorsement of Beth Walker for Justice of the Supreme Court of Appeals.
The WVL-PAC is the internal PAC for West Virginians for Life (WVFL), the state's largest pro-life organization. West Virginians for Life is affiliated with the National Right to Life Committee and through both education and legislation seek to build a society where human life is respected.
"I am proud to have the support of West Virginians for Life," Walker said. "Judicial activism has no place in our court system. Our Supreme Court Justices must not substitute their personal views for the rule of law."
In a letter to the Walker campaign, Melissa Adkins, executive director of WVL-PAC, stated "We are confident that Walker will be a fair and impartial judge and will not legislate from the bench."
Walker's other endorsements include the political action committees of the West Virginia State Medical Association, West Virginia Farm Bureau and the West Virginia Citizens Defense League.
