Greear gets A rating from NRA

Greear

CHARLESTON -- Attorney General candidate Dan Greear has been awarded an "A" rating from the National Rifle Association for his support of hunters and gun owners in the state.

The "A" rating from NRA signifies Greear as being a pro-Second Amendment/pro-hunting candidate who supports sportsmen and gun owners.

"I am proud of my "A" rating from the National Rifle Association," Greear said. "I am an avid supporter of hunting and gun owners' rights and I absolutely believe the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution guarantees an individual's right to bear arms. As Attorney General, I will work swiftly with other states to nail down the reciprocity agreements that my opponent's office has moved so slowly toward completion."

Neal Rugal serves as the Coalition Chair for the group Sportsmen for Greear.

"We are very pleased the NRA has recognized Dan's full commitment to the Second Amendment," Rugal said. "Dan was a strong advocate of gun owners' rights during his service in the Legislature and he will support us as Attorney General."

Greear is busy with a final tour around the state in the last week of the campaign.
