PERSONNEL FILE: Rector names Fellow of Litigation Counsel of America

CLARKSBURG -- Larry J. Rector of the law firm of Steptoe & Johnson has been selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, a trial lawyer honorary society comprised of experienced and effective litigators throughout the United States, which represents less than one-half of 1 percent of American lawyers.

Fellowship in the LCA is limited and by invitation only. Rector has focused his more than 20 years of practice in the area of labor and employment law.

Rector is Editor of the West Virginia Employment Law Letter, a national publication. He is the only West Virginia member of the National Employers Counsel Network, a national group comprised of management-side attorneys.

Rector is recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® and Super Lawyers. He serves on the Boards of Directors for the Pricketts Fort Memorial Foundation and the Allohak Council for The Boy Scouts of America.

Rector received his legal education at the University of Nebraska, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif. He served as Executive Editor of the Nebraska Law Review and was a member of the National Moot Court Team. He received his undergraduate education from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa.
