BECKLEY -– Family Court Judge K. Bruce Lazenby and his staff rode the circuit Wednesday, traveling by train to hear cases in another county.
Lazenby was elected to the newly formed Thirteenth Circuit of Raleigh, Summers, and Wyoming Counties in 2008. His office is based in Raleigh County. But Lazenby, his clerk and case coordinator were to travel Wednesday by Amtrak to hear cases in Hinton in Summers County.
"I thought it would be fun and also interesting to travel the circuit the way judges used to," Lazenby said, adding that they may do it again.
