PERSONNEL FILE: Spilman attorney named to WSG council

CHARLESTON -- Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC, one of the largest law firms in the region, recently announced that Eric W. Iskra, Member in Charge of Client Relations and Chair of the Labor & Employment Practice Group, has been named to the World Services Group (WSG) North American Regional Council.

Iskra is one of six Council members.

The immediate goal of the Council is to help increase activities among U.S. member firms through improved relationships and communications. To initiate this goal, the Council will be communicating with WSG contacts in the U.S. to assess current membership, evaluate options and gather ideas on specific steps towards meeting this goal successfully.

In addition to the immediate goal, the Council intends to help with various initiatives to elevate the national and international image of WSG and continue to attract high quality member firms.

Members are prominent state, national and international firms with the highest reputation within the business community. Spilman is the only West Virginia WSG member.
