Woman sues after a vehicle crashed into her residence

CHARLESTON -- A woman is suing after a vehicle collided with a building she was in caused her injury.

On Nov. 11, 2007, Lynne Sandy was operating her vehicle on Lee Street in Charleston and at the intersection of Lee Street, East and Bradford Street she negligently caused or allowed her vehicle to leave the roadway and collide with a residential structure, according to a complaint filed Oct. 22 in Kanawha Circuit Court.

Tanya Stone claims the collision caused significant damage to the structure, which she was in.

Stone claims when she exited the building, she slipped on debris and fell to the ground, causing her a right radial head fracture.

Stone is suing for compensatory damages. She is being represented by Larry O. Ford of Meyer, Ford & Glasser.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Tod J. Kaufman.
