* The plaintiffs seek judgment against the WVU Department of Public Safety. They allege WVU Police entered the home of Wanda Weatherholt, without a search warrant, claiming the residence was being used for drug activity. With weapons drawn, both the Weatherholts, Moats and Cool were handcuffed before it was realized the officers entered the wrong home. They are seeking compensatory and punitive damages, court costs and pre- and post-judgment interest.
