CHARLESTON -– Allen, Kopet & Associates, a regional insurance defense firm, recently announced its acquisition of the Charleston firm of Francis, Nelson & Brison.
This acquisition expanded the firm's representation to 21 offices within nine southeastern states.
As part of the acquisition, the firm's local presence will be expanded to include the defense of workers' compensation claims throughout West Virginia.
Brandolyn N. Felton, Esquire, has been hired to oversee the firm's workers' compensation practice from the Charleston office. In addition to her extensive experience defending workers' compensation claims, Felton is also a Medicare Set-Aside Consultant Certified (MSCC).
The firm plans to expand its presence in West Virginia and to build upon the experience and reputation established by Francis, Nelson & Brison. Providing regional coverage allows the firm to assist not only local clients, but those with a presence in multiple states.
