MORGANTOWN -- A Fairmont woman is suing the Monongalia County General Hospital and the Monongalia Health System, Inc., after she claims she was wrongfully discharged from her employment.
Terrie Field worked for the defendants as a registered nurse from 2004 until her employment was terminated on May 18, according to a complaint filed in Monongalia Circuit Court.
Field claims her employment was wrongly terminated for false reasons.
As a result of the defendants' wrongful and unlawful conduct, Field suffered substantial lost income and benefits, according to the suit.
Field is seeking compensatory and punitive damages and reinstatement to her former position. She is being represented by Drew M. Capuder.
