* On Oct. 31, 2009, Miller was a patient at the hospital and was taking a shower in the bathroom when cleaning staff entered his room and began cleaning the floor with a chemical cleaner and water. He claims he was not aware of the staff cleaning the floor and when he exited the bathroom, he slipped and fell. He is seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.

* On June 14, Gill was installing felt waterproof paper in the heavy rainfall without the use of a restraint, harness or other safety device when he slipped and fell approximately 25 feet to the asphalt walkway below, then rolled over an approximately 12-foot embankment. He claims the defendants are responsible for not providing a safe work environment. He is seeking compensatory and punitive damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.
