* On Aug. 10, 2009, Benincasa was operating a 1997 freight liner tractor trailer owned by Milk Transportation on Route 34 near the community of Red House in Putnam County when he crossed the lane of traffic and collided with a vehicle being driven by Edwards. Edwards is seeking compensatory damages.
