PERSONNEL FILE: Crislip named Regional Director for DRI

CHICAGO -- DRI - The Voice of the Defense Bar - recently installed Stephen R. Crislip of Jackson Kelly as a Regional Director during its Annual Meeting recently held in Washington, D.C.

Crislip has had over 38 years of law practice and has been a DRI member since 1982. He is General Counsel of Jackson Kelly. His focus is in litigation, emphasizing on the defense of cases involving professional liability and business, commercial and general litigation. He is named in Woodward/White's The Best Lawyers in America 2003-2012, Legal Malpractice Defense Lawyer of the Year for 2012 by Best Lawyers and Law & Politics' 2007-2011 West Virginia Super Lawyers.

Crislip will serve as a Regional Director from 2011-2014. He will serve alongside fellow newly elected Regional Directors: R. Bruce Barze, Jr. of Balch & Bingham LLP, John J. Burke of Hall, Farley, Oberrecht & Blanton, P.A. and Glenn M. Zakaib of Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP.

DRI will host more than 20 seminars and dozens of webcasts throughout 2012 that will focus on a variety of substantive law topics. In addition to the 2012 seminars and webcasts, the DRI Annual Meeting will be held Oct. 24-28, 2012, at the New Orleans Marriott in New Orleans, Louisiana.
