PERSONNEL FILE: Boone elected partner at Bowles Rice

CHARLESTON -- Attorney Floyd Boone has been elected as a partner of Bowles Rice McDavid Graff & Love.

Boone practices in the law firm's Charleston office. He joined Bowles Rice in 2009 after practicing for several years as an associate with the law firm Arnold & Porter in Washington, D.C.

He is a member of the firm's Litigation team, and focuses his practice in banking litigation, mass tort and toxic tort litigation, business litigation and product liability litigation. He received his law degree in 2001 from the West Virginia University College of Law, where he was editor-in-chief of the West Virginia Law Review, elected to the Order of the Coif, and named "Most Outstanding Graduate" for 2001. In 1995, he graduated, summa cum laude, from Concord College.

Bowles Rice is a regional business law firm with 130 attorneys. The firm's offices are located in Charleston, Martinsburg, Morgantown, Moundsville and Parkersburg, West Virginia; Lexington, Kentucky and Winchester, Virginia. An eighth office, in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, will open in March.
