Construction firm claims customers didn't pay full amount

FAYETTEVILLE — A construction firm is suing National Church Residences Elderly of Montgomery, WV, Inc., National Church Residences, Inc., and J.L. Stone Construction LLC, citing alleged breach of contract.

Capital City General and Electrical Contracting LLC filed a complaint on June 16 in Fayette Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they breached contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it has incurred monetary damages for not receiving the full payment for work it performed at the Rivermont Presbyterian Homes project in the amount of $7,115.83. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed and refused to pay for a portion of the work performed.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in the amount of $7,115.83, plus attorney's fees, costs and for all other sums that the court deems proper. It is represented by Mark D. Moreland of Moreland & Moreland LC in Lewisburg.
