Former director of gaming operations claims retaliatory discharge

WHEELING — A former director of gaming operations is suing Wheeling Island Gaming Inc., Osi Omomoh, Giorgio Isella and Josey Kelley, former employer and company officers, citing alleged mistreatment and retaliatory discharge.

Teresa Boley filed a complaint on June 28 in Ohio Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to comply with the public policies of the State of West Virginia.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the was mistreated during her employment and then terminated, and that she will continue to suffer annoyance, inconvenience, humiliation, embarrassment, loss of personal dignity, lost wages and other economic damages. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly subjected her to gender based harassment and/ or chauvinistic mistreatment and terminated her in retaliation for her concerns and observations about the defendants' unlawful acts.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensation for all damages, pre-judgment interest, attorney's fees and costs and such other relief as the court deems appropriate. She is represented by Nicholas A. Wininsky of Wininsky Law Offices in Pittsburgh.
