Freight shipper claims customer hasn't paid

Late 05

FAYETTEVILLE — A freight shipping company is suing New River Firewood LLC, a firewood and fire starter provider, citing alleged breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

R & L Global Logistics filed a complaint on Aug. 4, in the Fayette Circuit Court against New River Firewood LLC, alleging that the firewood and fire starter provider failed to comply with its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it rendered shipping transportation services to defendant, and that despite repeated demands for payment, the total amount of $20,134.04 remains unpaid. The plaintiff holds New River Firewood LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed and refused to pay the total amount that remains due and owing.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of $20,134.04, plus costs of this suit and all other relief to which it may be entitled. It is represented by John R. Keating of Amato Keating and Lessa PC in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
