Law money 13

FAYETTEVILLE — A landlord is suing Wild Flour Bakery and Bistro LLC, citing alleged breach of contract.

M & D's Almost Heaven Properties LLC filed a complaint on Aug. 5 in Fayette Circuit Court against Wild Flour Bakery and Bistro LLC, alleging that the defendants failed to comply with a lease agreement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it entered into a lease agreement with the defendants for a rent of $1,200 per month from Nov. 1, 2015, through Oct. 31, 2020, and that the defendants have been delinquent in the total amount of $8,500. The plaintiff holds Wild Flour Bakery and Bistro LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay rental obligations, abandoned the premises during the rental term and terminated and canceled the lease agreement.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants for past and future rentals in the amount of $8,500 and all future rentals due under the terms of the lease for $53,000 and for such other relief as the court deems appropriate. It is represented by Paul O. Clay Jr. of Paul Clay Law in Fayetteville.
