WINFIELD — A lessor is suing Whittington Fence Company Inc., citing alleged breach of contract.
Teays Valley Development filed a complaint on Aug. 12 in Putnam Circuit Court against Whittington Fence Company Inc., alleging that the lessee failed to comply with a lease agreement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that since January, it has suffered monetary damages for not collecting rental payments in the total amount of $5,000. The plaintiff holds Whittington Fence Company Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make payments on its rental obligations and failed to obtain limited liability insurance on the property.
The plaintiff seeks an emergency hearing for emergency ejectment. It is represented by Raymond G. Dodson of Raymond G Dodson Law Office in Charleston.
