Late 06

WEST UNION – A Pennsylvania corporation alleges a West Union emergency services provider has not paid for charges on a credit card.

Guttman Energy Inc. filed a complaint on Dec. 2 in Doddridge Circuit Court against Doddridge County Emergency Squad Inc. alleging that the emergency services provider failed to perform its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in Nov. 6, 2008, it accepted defendant's fuel service credit card application. On May 18, 2016, the suit states the balance of $6,093.63 remains due and owing. The plaintiff holds Doddridge County Emergency Squad Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly willfully failed and refused to make payment for the goods and merchandise purchased on a credit account from defendant.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant in the amount of $8,635.70, plus interest and costs. He is represented by Arch W. Riley of Bernstein-Burkley PC in Wheeling.
