Equipment supplier alleges coal mining company owes more than $500,000

WHEELING — A mining equipment supplier is suing a coal mining company, alleging failure to pay more than $500,000 for purchased products.

R.M. Wilson Co. Inc. filed a complaint March 21 in Ohio Circuit Court against Seneca Coal Resources LLC, alleging failure to perform its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, R.M. Wilson sold and shipped mining equipment to Seneca Coal's facility. Since July 25, 2016, the suit says, the balance amount of $511,249.99 and the Cliff's Natural Resources' debt of $2,103.36 remains due and unpaid. 

R.M. Wilson seeks trial by jury, judgment in the amounts of $511,249.99 and $2,103.36, plus interest, attorney fees and court costs and all other equitable relief. It is represented by attorney Frank X. Duff of Schrader Byrd & Companion PLLC in Wheeling.
