PRINCETON — A Princeton law firm is suing a pest control business, alleging breach of a fee agreement.

Burton Kilgore & Baldwin PLLC filed a complaint March 22 in Mercer Circuit Court against Standard Exterminating Company and Robert Person, alleging that they failed to fulfill their financial obligations under an agreement.

According to the complaint, on Oct. 16, 2015, Standard Exterminating contracted Burton, Kilgore & Baldwin to represent them in a action filed against them by Ileta Beth Combs and agreed to pay $225 per hour and all costs incurred for the plaintiff's legal services.

To date the suit says the amount of $9,904.39 remains due and owing. The plaintiff alleges the defendants have failed and refused to make payments for the amount.

Burton Kilgore & Baldwin seeks trial by jury, judgment, jointly and severally, for $9,904.39, plus costs of court, interest and all other proper relief. It is represented by attorney Debra Kilgore of Burton, Kilgore & Baldwin PLLC in Princeton.
