Passenger blames driver, company for injuries in crash

Car accident 19

WHEELING — A Florida man is suing a trucking company, alleging its negligence led to a crash involving the car in which the plaintiff was a passenger.

Joshua Allen filed a complaint May 8 in Ohio Circuit Court against the Timothy D. Boring and Hurricane Specialized LLC, alleging Boring failed to properly control the truck trailer he was driving for Hurricane.

According to the complaint, on Jan. 6, 2016, Allen suffered permanent injuries throughout his body when the vehicle he was riding in was struck by a truck trailer driven by Boring in Wheeling. The suit says Allen has suffered medical expenses, inability to enjoy life and lost wages.

The plaintiff alleges Boring failed to keep a proper lookout while causing his vehicle to collide with the vehicle the Allen was riding in and driven by Amanda Armstrong.

Allen seeks trial by jury, damages that exceed the minimum jurisdiction limits of this court, interest and all other relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorneys Jacob M. Robinson and Adam M. Hanasky of Robinson Law Offices in Wheeling.
