Estate administrator blames physicians for husband's death

Medical malpractice 03

WHEELING — A widow is suing three physicians, alleging their negligence led to the death of her husband.

Barbara Lucarelli, administrator of the estate of Ronald T. Lucarelli, deceased, filed a complaint May 12 in Ohio Circuit Court  against Dr. Maninder S. Bedi, Dr. Richard F. Terry and Dr. Edward K. Chiu, alleging they failed to provide proper medical care to the deceased.

According to the complaint, Ronald T. Lucarelli, 57, who suffered from heart problems, eventually died from heart disease May 25, 2015, because the defendants discharged him from their care prematurely without giving him proper treatment.

Barbara Lucarelli seeks trial by jury, compensatory damages, punitive damages, interest, legal fees and all relief the court deems just. She is represented by attorneys Robert P. Fitzsimmons and Brent E. Wear of Fitzsimmons Law Firm PLLC in Wheeling.
