CLARKSBURG — Three pipeline inspectors are suing a Houston energy company, alleging violation of workers compensation acts in failing to pay overtime.
Allen Hinkle, Justin Bish and Rodney Lalonde filed a complaint May 9 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia Clarksburg Division against Gulf Interstate Field Services Inc., alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
According to the complaint, Hinkle, Bish and Lalonde regularly worked more than 40 hours per week without receiving overtime pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 per week. Instead they were paid a day rate for all days worked, the suit says.
The plaintiffs allege Gulf Interstate Field Services failed to pay overtime wages for all hours worked in excess of 40 per week as required by FLSA.
The plaintiffs seek trial by jury, back pay damages, liquidated damages, attorney fees, court costs and expenses and all other just and proper relief. They are represented by attorneys Richard J.
