Law money 13

BECKLEY — A steel company is suing a Fayetteville company, alleging failure to pay more than $22,000.

Beckley Steel filed a complaint May 30 in Raleigh Circuit Court against The Robbins Company, alleging failure to fulfill its obligations under a contract.

According to the complaint, in February, Beckley Steel fabricated and delivered metal work for a Robbins customer in the total amount of $22,565. The suit says Beckley Steel has yet to receive payment for the unpaid past due invoices for the fabrication work. The plaintiff alleges The Robbins Company has failed and refuses to make payments for its obligation.

Beckley Steel seeks trial by jury, judgment for $22,565, plus interest, costs and attorney fees and all other just and proper relief. It is represented by attorney James R. Sheatsley of Gorman, Sheatsley & Company LC in Beckley.
