Klear Water Management accused of breaching of employment contract

Wrongful term 09

WHEELING — A former employee is suing Klear LLC d/b/a Klear Water Management, a waste water treatment facility, citing alleged breach of employment contract and unjust enrichment.

Joshua Martin filed a complaint on June 7 in the Ohio County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to fulfill its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that his employment with the defendant was terminated on Jan. 23, 2017 prior to the guaranteed 12 months of employment outlined in the contract. The plaintiff claims that he suffered damages for loss wages and benefits and, despite his best efforts, he was unable to obtain employment.

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly wrongfully and untimely terminating his employment and refusing to pay him severance pay.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants in an amount outlined in the contract, plus interest, costs of this action and such other appropriate relief. He is represented by Ryan A Zeli of Zimmer Kunz PLLC in Pittsburg, Pa.
