BECKLEY – A Beaver-based corporation alleges it was not paid for its work for the preparation of submitting surface mine applications.

Alliance Consulting Inc. filed a complaint on June 30 in Raleigh Circuit Court against Warrior Energy Resources LLC alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

According to the complaint, the defendant asked the plaintiff in 2014, 2015 and 2016 to prepare and submit surface mine applications for mining permits for mines. The plaintiff holds Warrior Energy Resources LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the full balance for the services.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $302,861.18, interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants. It is represented by Daniel T. Yon of Bailes, Craig & Yon PLLC in Huntington. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge John A. Hutchison.
